On May 20, 1873, Levi's® obtained a patent for a method of reinforcing clothing, and the world's first jeans were born.

This year marks the 152nd anniversary of jeans' birthday, "501®DAY," and the theme is "Western."

 

Three types of Levi’s® original color corner pins are now available.

Color corners were once a typical customization in western fashion for wearing denim more formally, and this special model was inspired by an actual color corner from the past, combining Levi’s®’s signature western motif. Each pin is handcrafted by a craftsman, giving it a unique texture and flavor, and the beautiful aging process that can be enjoyed as you wear it, just like Levi’s® denim.

1873年5月20日、リーバイス®が衣料補強方法の特許を取得し、世界で初めてジーンズが誕生しました。

今年で152回目となるジーンズの誕生日「501®DAY」は“ウエスタン”がテーマ。

現在、ふたたびウエスタンやカウガールファッションが注目される中、リーバイス®の原点である501®とウエスタンファッションを楽しんでいただけるような限定商品と、カスタマイズイベントを開催します。

3種のリーバイス®オリジナルカラーコーナーピンを製作させて頂きました。

カラーコーナーはかつてデニムをフォーマルに着こなすためのウエスタンファッションの代表的なカスタマイズで、本モデルは実際に過去にあったカラーコーナーをインスピレーションに、リーバイス®の代表的なウエスタンモチーフを組み合わせたスペシャルモデルです。職人が1点ずつ手作業で仕上げており、その独特な風合いや味わいや、リーバイス®デニムのように身に着けていくことで美しくエイジングしていく過程を楽しむことができるのも魅力です。
