We implemented a price revision in November 2025. However, since then, the increase in raw material costs, particularly silver bullion, has continued at levels beyond our expectations. Due to a combination of factors, including growing industrial demand, supply constraints, and investment demand, the market has remained unstable at elevated price levels, significantly changing the assumptions underlying our previous revision.
With great regret, we must therefore implement an additional price revisizon for products broadly affected by these market conditions and the resulting increase in procurement costs. The revision applies to items made with silver materials, as well as products using materials such as glass beads, reflecting the continued rise in sourcing costs.
This revision is not simply a matter of raising prices. For us, it represents a turning point. It is a restructuring of our pricing system and, more fundamentally, the design of how we make things, so that we can continue creating as NORTHWORKS. It is also a renewed statement of our commitment.
We have always pursued materials without compromise, and we continue to craft each product by hand, one by one, with care and passion, seeking quality and design that can be used for many years. We believe that value is not determined by materials alone, but by a combination of elements proven over time, including the density of the process, precision, the way a piece settles and becomes familiar through wear, and the strength to be repaired and used continuously.
In addition, the materials we work with carry their own history of value. Antique and vintage coins were once passed from hand to hand as currency, and have endured across time. Antique Murano beads are craftworks that condense generations of local technique and culture. Shells and other natural materials have, in some regions, served as mediums of trade and exchange, and have been inherited as symbols of value.
At the same time, under the current market environment, it has become difficult to continue producing to the same standards under the previous pricing structure. In order to protect the quality of our work, the density of our processes, and the depth of time held in our materials, we have entered a phase where revising our prices is unavoidable.
NORTHWORKS has always valued those choosing accessories for the first time, and those picking up their first piece. We do not want that first step to become more distant under new pricing. Although the size of this revision will be significant, we will rebuild our product development and systems to protect that entry point. Rather than simply simplifying specifications, we are moving forward with a redesign that preserves quality and the NORTHWORKS character, while making it possible for customers to select a piece as their first one.
As part of these changes, necklaces will shift from the previous format of selling the pendant top and chain as a set to a model where the pendant top is sold as the standard. Chains will be offered separately so customers can choose them, and customers will also be able to use their own chains. We are also developing new chain options that reflect the NORTHWORKS style.
At the same time, for higher priced items, we will use this revision as momentum to expand our range of materials, processes, and expressions even further, and to offer proposals that explore our identity more deeply than ever.
There is value that changes, and value that does not change, and value that is passed on. What NORTHWORKS aims to create belongs on the side of value that is passed on. This additional revision is an update made to protect that foundation and connect it to the next generation.

平素より NORTHWORKS をご愛顧いただき、誠にありがとうございます。
当社は2025年11月に価格改定を行いましたが、その後も銀地金を中心とする原材料価格の上昇が、想定を上回る水準で続いております。
工業用途の需要拡大、供給の制約、投資需要など複合的な要因により相場は高値圏で不安定に推移しており、前回改定時の前提を大きく更新しました。
そのため誠に心苦しい判断ではございますが、相場環境の上昇により仕入れコストの影響を受ける製品全般について、価格の改定を実施いたします。
対象は、銀素材及び、ガラスビーズなどの素材を使用する製品も含め、継続的な仕入れ価格の上昇を踏まえて見直しを行います。
今回の改定は、単に価格を上げるという話ではなく、私たちにとってこれは、これからもNORTHWORKSとしてつくり続けるために、価格体系と ものづくりの設計そのものを組み替える転換であり、新たな意思表明でもあります。
私たちはこれまで、妥協することなく素材を追求し、すべての製品を手仕事でひとつひとつ丁寧に、情熱を持って制作し、長く使える品質とデザインを追求してきました。
その価値は、素材だけでなく、工程の密度、精度、経年による馴染み、修理しながら使い続けられる強度といった、時間の中で証明される要素の集合だと考えています。
そして私たちが扱う素材には、そもそも価値を担ってきた履歴があります。
アンティークやヴィンテージのコインは、かつてお金として人の手から手へ渡り、時間を越えて残ってきたものです。アンティークのムラーノビーズもまた、土地の技術と文化の蓄積が凝縮された工芸の断片です。貝や天然素材も、地域によっては交易や交換の媒体として扱われ、価値の象徴として受け継がれてきました。
一方で現在の相場環境では、従来の価格体系のまま同じ基準でつくり続けることが難しくなっています。
品質や工程の密度を守り、素材の時間の厚みを損なわないために、価格の見直しが避けられない局面に入っています。
NORTHWORKSは、初めてアクセサリーを選ぶ方、最初のひとつを手に取る方も大切にしてきました。
しかし新しい価格の中で、その入口が遠くなってしまうことは私たちの本意ではありません。今回の改定幅は大きくなりますが、入口を守るための製品開発と仕組みを作り直します。
単に仕様を簡素化するのではなく、品質とNORTHWORKSらしさを保ったまま、最初のひとつとしてお手に取っていただけるような製品を成立させるための再設計を進めています。
具体的な見直しとして、ネックレスはこれまでの「トップ＋チェーンのセット販売」から、トップ（ペンダント）単体販売を基本とし、チェーンは別売でお選びいただける形へ変更し、お手持ちのチェーンでもご使用いただけます。
また、新たにNORTHWORKSらしいチェーンも開発を進めています。
同時に、高単価になる製品については、今回の改定を前進につなげ、素材・工程・表現の幅をこれまで以上に広げ、私たちらしさをより深く掘り下げた提案をしていきます。
変わる価値の中に、変わらない価値があり、受け継がれていく価値があります。
NORTHWORKSがつくりたいのは、受け継がれていく価値の側にあるものです。
今回の再改定は、その前提を守り、次代へつなぐための更新です。
